Classrooms & Facility
Each classroom is arranged in learning centers which allow students to move from building in the block corner to drawing and labeling pictures at the writing center to sharing kitchen duties in the imaginary play area. All rooms have a well-stocked library of children’s books and recordings, an area for science exploration, a large water tub, tables and easels for art projects, and child-sized restroom facilities.
Because physical activity is so important to the health and development of preschoolers, the Co-op has different outdoor play areas for the children to exercise throughout the year. We have a newly built playground with equipment designed for especially for 3-5 year olds, a space for riding bikes and scooters, a snow hill area in the winter months, and an outsized gym for those rainy or frigid days when outdoor play is not possible.
